Purpose of this policy
This policy explains the information used to operate, secure, improve, and fund the Crownlands browser game and its public information pages.
Information Crownlands uses
When you sign in, Crownlands receives account identifiers and basic profile information supplied by your authentication provider, such as your user ID, display name, email address, and profile image. Crownlands also stores gameplay information including your cities, troops, gold, progression, purchases made with in-game currency, clans, reports, settings, and server activity.
Clan rally records include private target details, participant identifiers, selected source cities, committed troop amounts, assembly timing, and settlement outcomes. Current clan members can read forming rally details; public map projections hide the objective until the rally launches. The Clan War Room displays this rally state and does not provide a separate operation-planning record system.
Crownlands stores a persistent random game-installation identifier in each browser profile. The server stores only a one-way hash of that identifier and retains recent account-to-installation associations for 30 days to prevent linked-account combat abuse. Shared IP addresses and shared networks are not used for automatic combat blocks.
The game uses browser storage and service-worker caches to remember sessions, support installation, improve loading, and safely retry eligible actions. Security records may include session identifiers, request timestamps, App Check results, and limited technical diagnostics.
Advertising and rewards
Crownlands uses a non-serving Google AdSense account meta tag and an ads.txt record to verify publisher-site ownership. Crownlands does not place AdSense display advertisements on its login, navigation, alert, error, or other utility screens. If contextual display advertising is introduced after approval, it will be limited to eligible public content pages.
Crownlands may offer optional rewarded advertisements through Google Ad Manager. Google Publisher Tag is requested only after an eligible signed-in player deliberately starts that flow. Google may then process device, browser, network, consent, and advertising identifiers to select, deliver, prevent fraud, and measure the advertisement. Crownlands records the chosen in-game reward, whether a reward grant was requested, cooldown usage, and the resulting account transaction.
Declining, closing, or blocking a rewarded advertisement does not prevent normal gameplay. An unfinished or unavailable advertisement grants nothing. In-game gold and troops have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real-world payment.
Service providers
Crownlands uses Google Firebase for authentication, databases, server functions, notifications, and abuse protection; Google AdSense for publisher verification and potential eligible public-page advertising; Google Ad Manager for optional rewarded advertising; and Netlify for web hosting. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Choices and retention
Where required, an advertising consent message lets you manage available advertising choices. You can avoid rewarded advertising by not pressing Watch Ad. Browser data can be cleared through your browser or operating-system settings, although server-side account and gameplay records remain necessary to preserve the shared game world and prevent fraud.
Gameplay and security records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the game, maintain account history, resolve disputes, enforce limits, and comply with applicable obligations. Short-lived rewarded-ad intent records are scheduled for deletion after their audit period.
Children
Crownlands is a general-audience game and is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are below the age required to consent to online services in your location without authorization from a parent or guardian.
Policy updates and contact
This policy may be updated when the game or its service providers change. Material updates will be reflected by the date above. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through the Crownlands support page. Do not publish passwords, authentication codes, account tokens, or other sensitive credentials in a public report.
